New Home Sales Fell by 41.7% in the Orange County, California

The sales volume of new homes has dropped by 41.7%. On the other hand, housing prices in half of the cities of Orange County rose, with an intermediate house price of 700,000 yuan, a slight increase of 0.7% over the same period last year.
Among the 2,284 houses sold, 1,287 single houses were reduced by 21.3% compared with the same period of last year. The median house price was 742,000 yuan, a slight increase of 0.5% over the same period of last year.
The number of mixed residential transactions was 591, a decrease of 24.1% over the same period of last year. The median house price was 482,500 yuan, down 1.1% from the same period of last year.
New homes sold 406 buildings, down 41.7% from the same period of last year, but the price of new homes was 98.25 million yuan, up 15.3% over the same period last year. The proportion of new homes in all closed homes was 17.78%, compared to 22.38% in the same period last year.
Among the 83 postal districts in Orange County, 45 house prices rose, and only 16 postal area codes increased. In terms of house prices, the median house price of the seven postal area codes was less than 500,000 yuan, and there were eight postal areas in the same period last year.
